We just so happened to find a gem today—Luckybolt Kitchen and Bakery! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the incredible food, impeccable service, and warm atmosphere. Everything we tried was outstanding, from the perfectly balanced Caesar wrap to the flavorful, beautifully textured sourdough loaf. We couldn’t resist trying one of every pastry, and each one has been divine so far. The selection is fantastic, offering something for everyone, with new items regularly rotating in to keep things exciting. Knowing that everything is farm-to-table and made with the freshest ingredients makes the experience even better. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional—friendly, personable, and truly knowledgeable. The staff took the time to help us choose the best items based on our preferences, making us feel welcomed and valued. Chris and his team have created something special, and we’ll absolutely be back often. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but Luckybolt has done just that!

Really delicious food. The bowl of goodness (pictured!) is what I usually get - it’s always served with quinoa, lentils, and kale, but I absolutely love the different seasonal veggies that it comes with each week. The “tofu of destiny” is amazing. It’s just a little spicy but with tons of flavor, and I get it every time. I don’t know how they came up with this recipe, but I’ve never had tofu like it before. Also, everything that is vegetarian/vegan is clearly marked! Although they do have plenty of meat options. The sweets are great too. I really enjoy the chocolate banana bread. I cannot overstate how much I love this restaurant.

The food is very tasty and the high quality of the ingredients makes a big difference. I just wish they had a bigger selection of items on their menu. We were rather hungry and forgot to take pictures before eating...

I got a breakfast burrito and cinnamon orange rosemary bun here. One of the best I’ve ever had. Burrito had a great flavor and not too salty. Cinnamon bun was so crunchy outside and soft inside. Really good with all the flavors bursting! Will come back again!

The breakfast burrito was generously sized and homemade salsa was spicy and balanced. We also ended up getting a loaf of sourdough which lasted us for several days! Worth a visit if in the area...

I tried almost everything but the sandwiches and this place is great! The pastries are excellent and I am french so I am used to eating good pastries. I would recommend this place anytime. I also love their soups.

An absolute must stop if you’re in the Torrey Pines area. Needed some refueling after a hike and this was am the spot. Every pastry we tried was delicious; perfectly baked and great flavor. Got a full baguette and devoured it. Go here!
